The Dark Lance is a long-range heavy weapon. It is extremely effective against heavily armed
vehicles, as their thick armour provides absolutely no protection against the energy beam.
In the game, the threat caused by this weapon is emphasized by the [[Lance WeaponWeapons]]s special rule,
that reduces the effective Armor values of heavily armed vehicles.
