Every member of the [[Adepta Sororitas]] carries a '''Chaplet Ecclesiasticus''' either around her neck or her waist. Each [[adamantium]] bead represents an act of penitence undertaken by the wearer, but in the case of veteran sisters each bead can represent ten, a hundred or a thousand such acts depending on experience. The sisters strive to honor's the [[Emperor]]'s sacrifice by emulating His example.{{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2}}
Some icons double as a concealed short blade in case of emergency.{{Fn|3}}
