There, the Raven Guard learned that they were to be scattered across the [[Imperium]], from the [[Imperium Sanctus|Segmentae Sanctus]] to the darkest reaches of [[Imperium Nihilus]]. Afterwards, each [[Shadow Captain]] received his own secret orders and set out with grim determination, towards goals only known to Chapter Master Shrike.{{Fn|1}}
