For most orders The Chaplet is combat ready, each every bead being made of [[adamantium]] bead {{Fn|1a}}. For most orders, each one represents an act of penitence undertaken by the wearer, or in the case of veteran sisters ten, a hundred, or a thousand such acts per bead depending on experience, as the sisters strive to honor's the [[Emperor]]'s sacrifice by emulating His example. For others each bead is individualized and meant to represent a specific virtue, or cluster of virtues{{Fn|11b}}{{Fn|2}}{{Fn|3}}.
