== Biography ==Often thought of as one of the most promising of [[Warmaster]] [[Slaydo]]'s general officers, Vichres was well-known for both his tactical acumen and his popularity with the rank-and-file soldiery, in part because of his willingness to lead from the front. This last quality may have contributed to his death, caught in an enemy trap on on [[Cociaminus]], where he had assumed command after General [[Forgues]] was killed in action. {{Fn|1}}
After the campaign, Vichres's body was buried with full honours in a mausoleum on Cociaminus, though both were violated and defaced by the [[Chaos]] forces during their subsequent counter-offensives.{{Fn|1}}
