In 008.[[M31]] during the [[Horus Heresy]], the [[Forge World]] of [[Ohmn-Mat]] fell into civil war when its [[Tech-Priest]] rulers split between those loyal to the [[Emperor of Mankind|Emperor]] and those loyal to [[Horus]]. Eventually, [[Sons of Horus]] and [[Iron Hands]] forces took respective sides in the conflict, battling one another in a major escalation. In circumstances that remain unknown, Ohmn-Mat's atmosphere was ignited, shrouding the world in fire. The planet was destroyed and its fires still rage 10,000 years later.{{Fn|1}}
