==History==Ohmn-Mat was a victim of the [[Mechanicum]]s capricious policies during the [[Great Crusade]], being stripped of much of its industry as [[Expeditionary Fleet]]s had passed by it. In 008.[[M31]] during the [[Horus Heresy]], the [[Forge World]] of [[Ohmn-Mat]] fell into civil war when its [[Tech-Priest]] rulers split between those loyal to the [[Emperor of Mankind|Emperor]] and those loyal to [[Horus]]. Eventually, [[Sons of Horus]] and [[Iron Hands]] forces took respective sides in the conflict, [[Burning of Ohmn-Mat|battling one another in a major escalation]]. In circumstances that remain unknownthe end the [[Daemon]] [[Samus]] was summoned to the surface, Ohmnforcing the worlds loyalist [[Tech-Mat's atmosphere was ignited, shrouding Priest]] to detonate a cache of forbidden weaponry to deny it to the world in fireforces of [[Horus]]. The planet was destroyed and its fires still rage 10,000 years later.{{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2}}
