They rule from their fortress, The House's [[Knight World|Homeworld]] is the '''[[IronholdProtectorate]] and they are currently ruled by [[High Queen]] [[Orlah Y'Kamidar]]{{Fn|1a}}. Kamidar''s colors are white and gold{{Fn|1a1d}} and its Knights traditionally carry an [[Oighen]] [[power sword]], which they even take with them even as they ride into war.{{Fn|1c}}  During the [[Indomitus Crusade]], House Kamidar's [[Knight]]s took part in the [[Battle of Gathalamor]], as part of the initial forces sent to defend the [[Shrine World]]{{Fn|1b}}. This was done by their [[High Queen]] [[Orlah Y'Kamidar|Orlah]], in order to honor the oath her grandfather, and past [[High King]], [[Laughlen Y'Kamidar]] had sworn that they Kamidar's Knights would always protect [[Gathalamor]]. As heir-apparent, Princess [[Jessivayne Y'Kamidar]] was given command of this force by her mother{{Fn|1a1c}}, which consisted of five full lances of Knights to defend the [[Shrine World]] with{{Fn|1b}}.
