==History==
Meto once provided much of the food for its entire [[Sector]], including the [[Realm of Ultramar]]. However, the creation of the [[Great Rift]] brought devastation to the Agri World, as it caused a forced migration of an [[Ork]] [[Waaagh!|horde ]] which fell upon Meto.{{Fn|1a}}
The world was of such importance that once word of the invasion reached the [[Indomitus Crusade]], [[Lord Commander]] [[Roboute Guilliman]] immediately dispatched an [[Ultramarines]] strike force to save the Agri World. The strike force consisted of the [[8th Company (Ultramarines)|Chapter's Eighth Company]], led by [[Space Marine Captain|Captain]] [[Numitor]], with additional support elements of the [[9th Company (Ultramarines)|Ninth Company]].{{Fn|1a}}
