Cisors are roughly fist-sized black beetle-like alien life forms.{{Fn|1a}} They attack with razor sharp exposed mandibles, which can rip into [[Carapace Armour]] and chew through it like it is tissue paper.{{Fn|1a}}{{Fn|2a}}
They can be held and used as a weapon. When held, they wriggle and their mandibles thrash and saw, making a chattering, chittering, or cluttering sound.{{Fn|2a}} They can also be used as a torture device.{{Fn|1a}}{{Fn|2b}}
They are known to sleep when not in use, and can be woken up by the warmth of a [[Human]] hand picking them up.{{Fn|2a}} They have been known to eat carpets.{{Fn|1a}}
