The source never stated all the Old Ones were reptilian, only that Trazyn fought against the "reptilian Old Ones", which could mean only some of them are reptilian. 8ed Aeldari codex states they're made up of multiple races.

They are notable for being the first of all the galaxy's sentient life{{Fn|6a}} as well as being the first race to cross the sea of stars, making them the oldest space-faring species in the galaxy.
