==History==

They are composed of not only [[World Eaters]] and other [[Khorne]] worshiping [[Chaos Space Marines]], but also have countless mortal followers, as well as a [[Daemon Prince]] amongst their numbers. With that many different groups, the Gore-forged are only bound together by fragile blood-pacts and mutually served personal ambitions. Their leaders are alpha-warriors who are able to maintain their dominance over the [[Chaos Warband|Warband]], but should a new champion join the Gore-forged, then a power struggle is all but guaranteed to break out. This will only end, when the Warband's leader is either overthrown or their challenger is defeated.{{Fn|1}}

The Gore-forged current leader is the [[World Eaters]] [[Chaos Lord]] [[Ar'ghurak]], though his leadership is being threatened by the recent arrival of the [[Daemon Prince]] [[Vorghor]]. The [[Daemon]] has been able to gather a group of [[Chaos Space Marine]] followers within the Gore-forge, who call themselves the [[Iron Butchers (Warband)|Iron Butchers]] and it is only a matter of time, until Vorghor challenges Ar'ghurak's leadership of the Warband.{{Fn|1}}
