==Biography==
When the Tanith First were deployed on [[Caligula (Hive World)|Caligula]], Wheln was part of a detachment assigned to escort a supply convoy from [[Aurelian Hive]] to [[Hive Calphernia]], driving a [[half-track]] with [[Abat]] and [[Brostin]] managing the weapons.{{Fn|1a}}
Later in the [[Siege of Vervunhive]], Wheln was amongst those Tanith deployed to defend the [[Veyveyr Gate]] against the Second [[Ferrozoica|Zoican]] Storm of [[Vervunhive]]. In the course of the fighting, Wheln was shot in the leg by a Zoican soldier.{{Fn|2}}
