Wheln
Trooper[3a] Wheln was a vox-operator[1b][2] of the Tanith First and Only Imperial Guard Regiment who served in the Third Platoon under Major Elim Rawne.[1b][4]
Biography
When the Tanith First were deployed on Caligula, Wheln was part of a detachment assigned to escort a supply convoy from Aurelian Hive to Hive Calphernia, driving a half-track with Abat and Brostin managing the weapons.[1a]
Later in the Siege of Vervunhive, Wheln was amongst those Tanith deployed to defend the Veyveyr Gate against the Second Zoican Storm of Vervunhive. In the course of the fighting, Wheln was shot in the leg by a Zoican soldier.[2]
While the Tanith First were conducting operations on Hagia, Colonel Corbec was captured by the Infardi during the retaking of the Holy Doctrinopolis. Wheln volunteered to accompany Sergeant Kolea on a rescue mission despite the Tanith being ordered to evacuate the city in preparation for an impending armoured assault on the Doctrinopolis by the Eighth Pardus Armoured.[3b]
