Central to the facility was a tank-like life-support chamber that was designed to hold a [[Psyker]]. The [[Sanctioned Psyker]] was hooked into a variety of equipment that sustained them. From inside their tank, the Psyker was able to project realistic emanations of various foes into the chamber which was used as part of the training exercise for combat personnel.
A [[Rogue Trader]] vessel known as the ''[[Mourningstar]]'' came to be requisitioned by [[Inquisitor]] [[Grendyl]] of the [[Ordo Hereticus]]. The vessel possessed a Psykhanium chamber that housed the Psyker [[Sefoni]] who used her powers to help train the recruited the [[Atoma Prime]] warbands against the [[Nurgle]] cult that emerged on [[Hive Tertium]] in the [[Moebian Domain]].
