Changes

[[Phocon Xal]] is Talin Sherax's devoted lifeward. He is a [[Skitarii]] who's function is to guard Sherax{{Fn|2d}} and by extension her collegues. The role of lifeward affords the Skittarii access to Sherax's [[Noosphere|Noospheric]] communion shared between herself and her close colleagues. Xal was adopted as the explorator superior's lifeward 52 Martian years prior to their expedition into the Space Hulk, ''Misery's Daughter''.{{Fn|2h}}

In the wake of Gryphonne IV's destruction, the diaspora fleet made up of the remnants of their fallen empire would flee the [[Gryphonne System]] in a caravan of ships thousands of miles long. With the [[Ark Mechanicus]] vessel the ''[[Logos]]'' and it's remaining guardian battlefleet as the vanguard, it lead the train of ships to the [[system]]'s secondary [[Mandeville Point]].{{Fn|2c}} During this time and alongside, for six days she bears witness to the ruination of her homeworld. This would sap her fortitude and shake her faith in the [[Omnissiah]], a god whom she felt had abandoned her people.{{Fn|2d}}
