A massive rocky world orbiting the star [[Canares]], it contains several continents separated by acid seas.{{Fn|1a}}
Its main sapient species are nomadic tribal [[human]]s named [[Xur]] who mostly worship [[Khorne]] under the name of Baphtar. There are clear signs that Xurunt was a [[Civilized World]], but fell to a catastrophe; the current inhabitants do not talk of the "before times" out of superstitious fear.{{Fn|1a}}

* Humans (Xur).
* Svartlings, a troglodyte race in the depths of the world which sometimes create metal monstrosities and teach the Xur who would brave the depths and survive with , [[magic]]. It is believed they are the [[mutant|mutated]] remnants of the world's previous settlers.
* [[Xurunsh]], [[Grox]]-like beasts used for war, burden and food.
* [[Onir]], metal multi-legged crab-like beasts believed to be created by the svartlings.
