In [[M42]], it was invaded by [[Hive Fleet Leviathan]] and among the [[Imperial]] forces that came to its defense, were the [[Ultramarines]] [[Chapter]]'s [[2nd Company (Ultramarines)|2nd Company]], the [[Astra Militarum]]'s [[Cadian 8th]] [[Regiment]], the [[Adeptus Mechanicus]], the [[Inquisition]], the [[Deathwatch]]{{Fn|1a}} and the [[Imperial Navy]].{{Fn|1b}} However, the Recidious System was later invaded by the [[Thousand Sons]] [[Traitor Legion]] as well, which has led to the Imperium now fighting both invading forces at once.{{Fn|1a}}
