Description
Hololiths are used for a variety of image display purposes. Such as in communications, typically called a holocast,9 for strategic planning displays, or as decorations, such as a holo-statue.

Holo-Projectors are typically cased in brass and surrounded by chrome-sheathed cables and hissing steam, constructed and maintained by some of the most ancient and sacred rituals. Projectors are most often found in briefing rooms where they can be linked to a cogitator or another data feed. From this data input a cone-shaped, blue-tinged image is projected by the device.2b
Another way of image projection is through the use of an inserted Data-Crystal, which the Projectors cause to spin and then send a beam of light into. Doing so causes the images or recordings the Crystal contains to be displayed and any nearby lights may need to be dimmed, for the Projectors to show a more clearer image.1
Hololiths are typically either green, blue, or some colour between. The form created by the projection ribbons are heavily striated mote strands, not quite true-pict-quality. Frameshift technologies made flaws inevitable and can't be ironed out due to simple physics. At close range and in good conditions, the best holocast provided a phantom figure, alongside an audio buzzing. Jag and tear is common in long-range holocasts.9
