The '''Heimdel Crusade''' is a [[Black Templars]] [[Crusade]] that is led by [[Marshal (Black Templars)|Marshal]] [[Gheidon]]. It currently serves within [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Secundus]]' [[Battle Group Erastus (Fleet Secundus)|Battle Group Erastus]].{{Fn|1}}
As [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Secundus]] launched, its mission was to strike at the [[Eye of Terror]] itself. The [[Indomitus Crusade]]'s high command thought that such a brazen challenge could not be ignored by the forces of [[Chaos]]. It was hoped that Fleet Secundus would draw them away from other, more strategically crucial war zones. This would also allow [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus|Fleets Primus]], [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Tertius|Tertius]], [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Quartus|Quartus]], [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Quintus|Quintus]] and [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet Sextus|Sextus]] the opportunity to reclaim the [[Imperium Sanctus]].{{Fn|1}}
