==Biography==

Often thought of as one of the most promising of [[Warmaster]] [[Slaydo]]'s general officers, Vichres was well-known for both his tactical acumen and his popularity with the rank-and-file soldiery, in part because of his willingness to lead from the front. This last quality may have contributed to his death, caught in an enemy trap on [[Cociaminus]], where he had assumed command after General [[Forgues]] was killed in action. {{Fn|1}}
