Datafaxes served as datasheets for vehicles, structures, aircraft, and Titans. They were used in 1st Edition and more predominantly in 2nd Edition. The details of each datafax included a units armament, movement (if applicable), defensive capabilities, crew component, and points value for the unit and any upgrade purchases. They typically included armour values and hit location tables, including the results of damage to these components during a game.1
Datafaxes were provided with the release of new units, often on White Dwarf MagazineDwar magazine and other supplements such as The Citadel Journal, Inquisitor Magazine, or as part of various Box Sets.
