The '''2010 compendium''' is a full official update to the [[Battlefleet Gothic]] universe, complete with updated rules, fluff, FAQ and even some new ships.{{fn|1}} It can be considered the latest and final official expansion to the BFG tabletop game.{{Fn|3}}

It was written by a rules committee, nicknamed the ''High Admiralty''; a [[Games Workshop]]-sanctioned board of fans and employees who have been charged with playtesting all future development of the game{{fn|3}}, posted on either www.battlefleetgothic.com or www.specialist-games.com (both sites now nonfunctional). Notable members include [[Bob Henderson]], [[Ray Bell]] and , [[Nate Montez]], [[Roy Amkreutz]] as well as collaboration with [[Andy Hall]] and [[Matt Keefe]] and [[Pete Haines]].
