It possessed two polar fins positioned laterally near its muzzle, which were the source of the magnetic vortex accelerating the discs. The magazine was a flat and circular extension, commonly stationed in horizontal plane, while noted to sometimes being positioned vertically. While also noted as sometimes possessing additional fins, the exact description of them wasn't specified nor illustrated.{{Fn|4}} This design was later referenced in the novel [[Archmagos (Novel)|Archmagos]] as a design dating back to the [[War in Heaven (Necron)|War in Heaven]].{{Fn|6}}
