Void Whales are large enough to maintain ecosystems of parasitic creatures including the bipedal piscene [[Remora]] and the wormlike [[Cruevar]].{{Fn|1}} Void Whales corpses are valued by the [[Leagues of Votann]] as mining sites, and can maintain multi-year digs.{{Fn|3a}} There are many things that can be created or refined from the raw materials of a dead void whale.{{Fn|3c}} The meat of a void whale is inedible, as far as most [[List of sentient species|sentient species]] of the galaxy are concerned.{{Fn|3a}}
