Systematically annihilating the Ork horde, Helios then personally killed the the commanding Greenskin [[Warboss]].{{Fn|1a}} Upon the victory, he and [[Space Marine Sergeant|Sergeant]] [[Theron (Ultramarines)|Theron]] were assigned by [[Roboute Guilliman]] to a new mission at [[Quradim]] alongside a batch of new [[Primaris Space Marine]]s under [[Seneca]]. Upon arrival at Quardim in the [[destroyer]] ''[[Light of Iax]]'', they find the world already mostly conquered by the [[Iron Warriors]] under [[Warsmith]] [[Bolaraphon]] and the defending [[Genesis Chapter]] elements mostly wiped out.{{Fn|1b}}

Boarding the derelict Genesis Chapter [[frigate]] ''[[Excelsior (Frigate)|Excelsior]]'', the Imperials were then set upon by the Iron Warriors [[battleship]] ''[[Damnatio Memorae]]''. Helios and the Primaris Marines were able to escape the ''Excelsior'' before it could be rammed by the Iron Warriors vessel.{{Fn|1c}} Helios and his squad escaped in a shuttle which then crash-landed on Quradim's surface just as the larger Indomitus Crusade fleet arrived in orbit, forcing the Iron Warriors to desperation.{{Fn|1d}} They learned that the Iron Warriors were attempting to detonate [[Virus Bomb]]s to deny Quradim to the Imperials, and they stormed the arms cache to prevent this. During the battle the Ultramarines were victorious, but Helios was gravely wounded against a [[Chaos Dreadnought]].{{Fn|1e}}
