Azoruakh and his "brother" [[Xhakoruakh]], spawned by the same creator,{{Fn|1c}} vyed for years for control of parts Aelindrach,{{Fn|1a}} working with [[Zykleiade]] of the [[Coven of the Black Descent]] to trap Xhakoruakh within a trap in the labyrinth of the Black Descent.{{Fn|1d}}

During the [[Dysjunction]], Azoruakh made a pact with the [[Tzeentch|Architect of Fate]],{{Fn|1e}} his body becoming warped by chaos with additional fingers on one hand, and a bird-like claw of a foot.{{Fn|1b}} Azoruakh and his mandrakes fortified his fortress, built around the [[Vault of Ascension]] – the oldest portal to [[Commorragh]] in [[Aelindrach]], with arcane devices which could unleash all-destroying lucent beams within Aelindrach (a feat as the Sub-realm is notoriously opaque to high-energy discharges). Azoruakh died within his fortress, decapitated by [[Kheradruakh]].{{Fn|1b}}
