[[Chaos GodM33]] , after the [[SlaaneshFall of the Eldar]] and where the [[Dark Eldar]] formed their own separate society based at the Dark City. In this year, The the Solar Cults which controlled the stolen suns rose in power and influence where they declared war on the noble houses. This saw them plunge Commoragh into permanent night with aerial conflicts erupting between the two sides that lasted for centuries. Ultimately, the noble houses won this war and the Solar Cults {{Fn|1}} were defeatedwinnowed from a powerful political force to a handful of bouyant relics.{{Fn|12}} Despite their absence, fragments of their culture remain in the fabric of Drukhari society, most notable of which is the practice of transforming oneself into a [[Scourge]] – a practice which originated from solar cultist's desires to fly ever closer to the lights of their worship. Those who lead the Scourges are to this day known as Solarites, the same name as the cult priests of old.{{Fn|2}}
