The '''White Seers''' are [[Eldar]] [[Seer]]s which work within the [[Black Library of Chaos]]{{Fn|1}} which dedicate their lives to thwarting [[Slaanesh]] and the other [[Chaos Powers]]{{Fn|4}} – in this persuit they learn "Rituals of Defiance" and turn their [[Psychic]] efforts towards the suppression and containment of [[Chaos]].{{Fn|4}}

White Seers train within the [[Black Library of Chaos|Black Library]] and work beside the [[Guardian-Scribes|Black Library Guardians]] of the [[Black Library of Chaos]] as curators of the library. They coordinate with the [[Guardians of Biel-Tanigh]] and the [[Harlequin]]s,{{Fn|4}} they are called upon when sources of corruption are so powerful that even the latter's devotion to [[Cegorach|The Laughing God]] will not protect them.{{Fn|1}} In this effort, White Seers are summoned upon by the [[Asuryani]] of the [[Craftworld]]s to contain powerful artefacts of [[Chaos]]{{Fn|4}} at the request of their [[Farseer]]s.{{Fn|1}}
