A '''Wraithseer''' is a unique and rare type of [[Eldar]] [[Wraith Constructwraith construct]], a [[Wraithbonewraithbone]] construct empowered by the soul of a deceased Eldar contained within a [[Spirit Stonespirit stone]].{{Fn|1b}}

Unlike a [[Wraithguardwraithguard]] or [[Wraithlordwraithlord]]. , a Wraithseerwraithseer's matrix contains the mortal spirit of a [[Warlockwarlock]] or another powerful Eldar [[seer]], who still retains many of their former powers and instincts for battle. These Wraithseers wraithseers function in death as they did in life, leading at the head of a spirit host and wordlessly giving commands to the other constructs, able to perceive the world with greater clarity without the need for [[Spiritseerspiritseer]]s. While more common in ages past in the [[41st Millenniummillennium]] very few Wraithseers wraithseers still walk amongst the [[Craftworldscraftworlds]], and it is believed that the Spiritseers spiritseers have lost the knowledge or skill to create new ones, making them very precious.{{Fn|1b}}

For combat a Wraithseer wraithseer is always equipped with a [[Wraithspearwraithspear]] and [[Wraithshieldwraithshield]], and may also arm themselves with a [[Bright Lance|bright lance]], [[Scatter Laser|scatter laser]], [[Eldar Missile Launcher|Eldar missile launcher]], [[Starcannonstarcannon]] or [[D-Cannon|D-cannon]]. Their [[psyker]] abilities are also quite potent, allowing them to assist friends and hamper foes. A Wraithseerwraithseer's mind is not clouded to the [[Warp]] in the same way those of the living are, so they can access upon greater reserves of power.{{Fn|3a}} Wraithseers have been known to cloud their enemies' minds with the terror of death, enliven the spirit stones of ghost warriors around them to inspire fresh vigour, and alter fate to protect themselves and their charges.{{Fn|1b}}
