Appearing over a decade before the Wraithseer, [[The Citadel Journal 36]] included a different [[Wraithlord]] variant with a [[Warlock]] spirit stone, known as the '''Phantom Seer''' designed by [[Andy Coe]].
The Phantom Seer was quite different, sporting a bimodal shoulder-mounted [[Warp Cannon]] and optionally replacing its [[Power Fist]] with a [[Flamer]] or [[Shuriken Catapult]] and its body was covered with protective runes and sigils.
