Tradition holds that these vengeful constructs are kept separate from other ghost warriors so that their immortal anger does not taint those nearby who might one day attain peace. Few Eldar will speak the true name of Wraithblades, ''Klaivaulch'', for fear of inciting the wrath of [[Khaine]]. When needed, the Wraithblades will be awakened by the most gifted [[Spiritseer]]s, their [[Spirit Stone]]s burning hot upon activation. Once kindled, the wrath that animates their [[Wraithbone]] becomes an unstoppable fury that is only quenched by enemy blood.{{Fn|1}} Whether this anger comes from within the Spirit Stones that animate the Wraithblade or the angered Spirit Stones of their weapons they carry is not fully understood.{{Fn|2}}

For a long time, [[Craftworld]] [[Biel-Tan]] rallied against the use of Wraithblades, decrying those craftworlds who would make such constructs, but now even they have been left little choice after suffering the ever-increasing casualties of the [[M41|41st Millennium]].{{Fn|4}}
