In the first edition of Dark Imperium (Novel), it would be the active Captain-General following Roboute's Awakening who would present the Emperor's Sword to Roboute following his awakening (possibly Trajann Valoris)5 In the 2nd edition, this was changed to an unspecified Captain General during The Scouring, allowing Roboute to wield the Emperor's Sword against Fulgrim at ThesallaThessala.5a5b
