==Biography== Phoros was believed killed when the [[Minotaurs]] Chapter destroyed the [[Battle Barge]] ''[[Daughter of Tempests]]'', but rumours abounded that he survived unseen in the wreckage and would rejoin his brethren in exile.{{Fn|1}} In early M42, it was confirmed he was still Master of the Lamenters and would regularly dispense permission for Battle Brothers to carry out the Lamentations - a ritualized period of meditation and reflection - during operations, should a member of the Calix Priesthood be unavailable.{{Fn|3}}
Following the deployment of the [[Flesh Tearers]] during the [[Third War for Armageddon]], Phoros was one of several Chapter Masters of the [[Sanguinary Brotherhood]] who presided over the trial of [[Gabriel Seth]].{{Fn|2}}
