In course of this conflict, Phoros was believed killed when the [[Minotaurs]] Chapter destroyed the [[Battle Barge]] ''[[Daughter of Tempests]]'', but rumours abounded that he had survived unseen in the wreckage and would rejoin his brethren in exile.{{Fn|1}}
