Along with his twin Asubha, Subha was one of the Astartes assigned to the Crusader Host when the Horus Heresy broke out. At that point, Rogal Dorn ordered the Host be captured, and Yasu Nagasena led a force of 3,000 men to that aim, resulting in the surviving Astartes' imprisonment in Khangba Marwu.[1b]
He was one of the Astartes who escaped from the prison, and Atharva saw him as the "butcher" to his brother's "assassin".[1b] Fiercely loyal to Angron, he was one of the Outcast Dead bent on going back to their respective Legions.[1c]
When the Palace's hunters assaulted the Temple of Woe where the Outcast Dead had cremated their fallen comrades, Subha and his brother went against Saturnalia of the Legio Custodes, who killed him with several bolter shells in the chest.[1d]
