Farseer Taldeer near the end of the Dark Crusade.

Taldeer brought Eldar forces, including the Swordwind of Biel-Tan[Conflicting sources] to Lorn V after a vision of an Ork invasion of the former Exodite World,[4b] and upon arrival learned that the planet was the site of a Necron Monolith with a small number of Necrons in stasis below its surface soon awakening.[1]

Taldeer and her forces allied themselves with a force of Imperial Guard from the 412th Cadian Regiment, lead by General Sturnn, who together discovered that the Orks had allied with the World Eaters also upon the planet. At first assisting in secret by destroying critical Chaos and Ork emplacements, Taldeer later promised to assist General Sturnn reach an ancient Imperial Titan, Dominatus, that the humans had come to retrieve. Not trusting the humans, the Eldar allowed a powerful Webway Gate to close behind them, trapping the humans with the combined forces of the Orks and Chaos allowing the Eldar to reach the Titan before the emergence of the Necron Monolith.

Taldeer use the power of her Soul Stone to damage a Necron Monolith before it phased away, but as more Necrons emerged and the Orks and Chaos forces closed in she seized the titan using its armaments to power the stone and fire again upon the monolith. Upon Sturnn's arrival she again convinced the general and his Guardsmen to assist her and defend the titan, promising the titan once the Necrons were defeated. Using the Titan to provide additional fire, the combined forces of the Imperial Guard and Eldar managed to hold back the Orks, Chaos, and Necron forces long enough to destroy the Necron Monolith[1] and prevent the Necrons from reaching the Webway Gate to Arcadia beneath the titan. However, seeing that the strain of the Titan using its weapons as well as powering the eldar soul stone would prove too much for the derelict Titan's power core, Taldeer and the forces of Ulthwé fled into the Webway, leaving the Imperial Guard forces without warning as the Titan's explosion killed the defending guardsmen.[1]

Although its wreck was retrieved by Ultramarine-escorted Titan Crew[4b], this flight, and the denial of the Dominatus, was viewed as a betrayal by the Imperium and for it Taldeer was branded an "Enemy of the Imperium" and pursued across the galaxy by an Imperial Guard taskforce headed by Colonel Lukas Alexander, a search effort that ended with her rediscovery on Kronus.[2]

The Biel-Tan Dragonship Exaltation transporting Taldeer out of the system was destroyed in the atmosphere above Lorn VII by Necrons,[4c] leading her in desperation to stow away on the Blood Ravens ship Litany of Fury,[4a] where she convinced Captain Gabriel Angelos to assist her in her quest to resecure the Arcadian Webway Gate on Lorn V[4a] which remained unknowingly guarded by Sturnn's regiment in an ice cave the site of the Dominatus' excavation where Taldeer went surreptitiously unremarked by Sturnn.[4b][Conflicting sources]

In attempting to activate the gate within the ice tunnel, Taldeer discovered the gate itself had been destroyed by the Titan excavation efforts and was unable to fully activate it – only opening it long enough for the Harlequin Solitaire Karebennian to step through[4b] to communicate to Taldeer the location of a tear in the Webway within the Immaterium which could grant access to the hidden library of Arcadia.[4c]

Arcadia

Taldeer wired herself into the Navigatorum of the Blood Ravens Strike Cruiser the Ravenous Spirit to guide the ship through the Warp to the Webway tear and prepared a Thunderhawk Gunship to briefly withstand the warp on its journey from the strike cruiser to the warp-shielded Webway through a shared rite of sanctification with three Librarians – a journey it nearly failed to withstand as the glut of Daemons about the Webway breach tore into all those aboard the Thunderhawk, gravely wounding Taldeer[4c] who was helpless to stop the vehicle from crash-landing on the surface of Arcadia, where Gabriel Angelos left her to die.[4d]

It came to Taldeer herself to escape the burning wreckage, making her own way to the Harlequin lines during a momentary pause in the gunfight between the Blood Ravens and the Harlequins of Arcadia to the confusion of Gabriel Angelos and his retinue who continued to fire upon the circling Venoms.[4d] Taldeer recovered her wounds among the Harlequins.[4d]

Sometime later, she was sent to the planet of Kronus, a Necron Tomb World. She came primarily to destroy the Necrons once again who were emerging on Kronus, however, once she witnessed the full scale of the battle on Kronus between most of the Galaxy's major powers, she decided to make a full conquest on the planet. The Imperial Guard tracked her to this planet, intending to bring retribution for her actions on Lorn V. The Blood Ravens chapter of the Imperium's Adeptus Astartes also landed after it was discovered important relics from the Horus Heresy were on the planet, and intended to purge the planet of all opposing forces: human, heretic, and xenos. Taldeer attempted to defend her position on the planet, but she and her warriors fell against a siege by the Blood Ravens. Afterwards, Taldeer's soul was absorbed into a spirit stone.[2] Taldeer's spirit stone was taken by Azariah Kyras, librarian of the Blood Ravens, and kept as a trophy of the battle. Kyras was then hunted down and defeated by Taldeer's twin brother, Ronahn. Ronahn reclaimed his sister's spirit stone and returned her to Ulthwé.[3]

Taldeer's spirit stone was stored within the sanctum of Autarch Kyre, who had learned of a prophecy involving the Spear of Khaine, foretold by Taldeer. During the search for the speak on Acheron, it was discovered the prophecy was incomplete and thus should not be followed. In order to accomplish this, Farseer Macha and Ronahn staged a heist of the sanctum in order to recover Taldeer's spirit stone. After recovering the spirit stone, it was placed within a Wraithknight, as being a twin made Taldeer's soul able to power/partially control the wraith-construct. In her new form, and piloted by her brother, Taldeer fought alongside Farseer Macha on the wandering planet Acheron, aiding the Farseer in her attempt reach the Spear of Khaine.[5]
