Talk:Esteban VII
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
This seems to be just Estaban VII. We know two "Deathbolts" Titan Legions, Legio Honorum and Legio Sagitarr. The former was clearly never based on Esteban VII, and the latter is allied to the forces of "Estaban". IMO, this makes it extremely likely that Estaban VII and Esteban VII are the same - the other information on both articles also fit together. Considering this, I suggest that we merge the articles and treat this as alternative spellings. AdeptusExtra11 (talk) 12:16, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
- Actually, there may be a third Death Bolts legion based on Esteban VII (based on the Mechanicus quotes article - I don't own the source in question). KazilDarkeye (talk) 12:36, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
- Sigh. Good find in regards to the quote. Sadly, the quote is talking about Legio Honorum (it mentions Maxen Vledig) - thus Legio Honorum was also based on "Esteban VII". AdeptusExtra11 (talk) 13:31, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
- Well, we all know GW and how (in)consistent they handle their own lore *shrug* Anyway I always assumed that Esteban and Estaban were the same, much the same as all the spelling cariations of "Isstvan". --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 07:10, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- Another point to consider - File:HH006-010.M31.jpg, an image file which labels "Esteban" in Segmentum Solar, whereas Estaban is in the Ultima Segmentum. Maybe they are different. KazilDarkeye (talk) 15:58, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
- Sounds like a retroactive cover-up of a fuck-up, but so be it. Two different ones if the maps have been confirmed. I would nevertheless insist on putting disambiguation links between the two. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 06:21, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
