Tannister
Tannister is a Deathwatch Captain of Watch Fortress Keep Extremis.[1b]
History
He was present there,[1b] when the Great Rift was created and Keep Extremis became part of Imperium Nihilus.[1a] The Watch Fortress was then repeatedly attacked by Traitors[1a] and while Tannister[1b] and his Deathwatch Battle Brothers successfully drove off all of the attacks, they suffered substantial casualties in doing so. However when Keep Extremis later received distress calls from Vigilus, during the War of Beasts,[1a] the Watch Captain was sent to aid the Imperial world[1b] with a Watch Company. His forces were sent aboard the Strike Cruiser Remorseless,[1a] but when they arrived there, it received distress calls from across the Vigilus System. These included the Death World Falsehood and the Moon Neo-vellum, which was sent by the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Lysette Astromar. Tannister reacted to this new development by splitting his Watch Company into its individual Kill-Teams and sending them to answer each distress call. Amongst his forces was Kill Team Mordelai, which was sent to aid the settlement of Vain Hope on Falsehood.[1b]
