T'au'n,^[6b] sometimes spelled Tau'n,^[4a][7] is a T'au sept, a star system within the T'au Empire that lies close to the T'au homeworld;^[6a] it was the first true offworld colony of the T'au Empire,^[1][2] established in 756.M37.^[4a]

T'au from this Sept are dedicated spacefarers and scouts known for exploring near space.^[1][2] It is also said that each caste is represented evenly in T'au'n.^[3]

T'au'n has a chain of giant orbital docks and controls the largest of the Air Caste space stations. While every sept hosts ships of the T'au fleet (known as the kor'vattra), no other sept matches the impressive capacity of T'au'n.^[6b]
