The Tauran^[1] (also - Taurans)^[3] is a Codex Chapter of unknown origin.^[1]

Overview

The Chapter is shrouded in mystery, though it is known that they have crusading fleets that only rarely appear in Imperial histories. They also honour a tithe owed to the Deathwatch and send staunch Veterans to stand amid the Xenos Hunters' ranks.^[2]

Heraldry

The Taurans wear bone armour with black greaves, helmet, aquila, backpack, and markings. The Chapter's symbol is a black bull's head on a bone field.^[1]

• Ordis K'vane — Veteran Deathwatch Space Marine of the Mordelai Kill Team.^[3]

Notes

The Taurans may have been involved in the Damnos Incident, the Second Battle of Damnos or the Third War for Damnos as their customisation options in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 include a "Damnos Campaign Badge" (shown below).^[4]
