Biography
Telemach had only served in his legion for 10 years before he was grievously wounded and was interred in Contemptor Dreadnought armour. However, he bitterly resented his new status.[2a]
Nevertheless, Telemechrus was awoken during the desperation of the Battle of Calth when his transport ship was destroyed and his containment sarcophagus plummeted to the surface.[2b] During the battle, he fought with a vigor that was a result of his deep level of bonding with his mechanical suit in a way not even Tech-Priests could understand. He fought on the side of Tetrarch Eikos Lamiad at Komesh and went on to lead the assault at Lanshear.[1][2c]
Trivia
- Telemechrus is possibly named for Telemachus, the son of Odysseus from Homer's Odyssey, combined with "mech" as a pun referring to his mechanical Dreadnought body.
