"The First Primaris" is a short story by Aaron Dembski-Bowden.[1] It was released as an addition to the limited edition of the novel Spear of the Emperor in November 2018,[1] then later as part of The Successors anthology.[2]
Story description
Guardians of Elara's Veil, the Emperor's Spears stand on the knife's edge of destruction, beset by new dangers. Bloodied but unbroken, they keep their oaths where their comrades of the Star Scorpions and Celestial Lions have faltered. In a galaxy split by the Great Rift, this war-ravaged Chapter persists, far from the God-Emperor's light.[2]
