The Metatron are a Space Marine Chapter with close ties to the Ordo Xenos.^[1]

Overview

Metatron Space Marines are highly independent and are often seen operating on their own, as advisors to the Imperial Guard, or as members of senior Inquisitors' Retinues. All of the Chapter’s Veterans have served in the Deathwatch, and many of them are granted the right to wear the black livery even when they rejoin the Metatron.^[1]

• The Metatron were created by Johan Egerkrans.^[1]
• In the Warhammer Community article showcasing models from the Chapter, Egerkrans notes that he named the characters after famous composers.^[1]
