Thermal Diffraction Field

Thermal diffraction fields were a type of force field utilized by Saturnine Terminators and Saturnine Dreadnoughts during the Unification Wars, Great Crusade, and Horus Heresy.[1] Capable of dispersing incoming energy[3], it was said to render the user invulnerable to most forms of firepower.[2] The field also served to protect the user against the effects of their own plasma weaponry.[3]
