Thulia Ghuld[1]

Thulia Ghuld is an Adeptus Mechanicus Archmagos Terminus of the Forge World of Mars.[1]

History

A veteran of the Ordo Reductor and a master of the field of war, Ghuld has a single-minded obsession with warfare. This has led the Archmagos to spend hundred of years crafting her body and her forces into the purest expression of divine wrath. She believes the Omnissiah himself has made her an efficient conduct of war and Ghuld has slaughtered thousands of traitors, heretics and xenos. The Archmagos' nature and unceasing pursuit of victory has caused her to become beloved by the Skitarii, who call Ghuld Vox Dei - the living emitter of the Machine God's word. However, her Adeptus Mechanicus peers, including Belisarius Cawl, state that Ghuld has no interest in attaining knowledge, unless it can be used in war.[1]

Many find the Archmagos's company distasteful as well, but Ghuld in turn scorns Cawl and other like-minded Mechanicus members, who waste time and resources on diplomacy and experimentation. She feels that effort should be better spent on destroying their enemies instead. Ghuld also does not dispute their attacks on her character, as she believes her obsession with war was granted to her by the Omnissiah. She muses that if he did not wish the Archmagos to follow this path, then the Omnissiah would not have made her enemies so easy to kill.[1]

Her talents and forces have now been used to defend the worlds of the Cadian Gate, which have been ravaged by the forces of Chaos since the Great Rift's creation. The Traitors have had free reign to bring their fleets out of the Eye of Terror and Ghuld has used her unstoppable armoured legions to wage war against them. These are often crowned by legions of Hastarii heavy infantry and the Archmagos has also used her resources to shore up the Cadian Gate's defences. However, Ghuld is now focusing on defending the Forge World Agripinaa, which has become targeted by the Iron Warriors Warsmith Kravek Morne.[1]
