Trayvar Thrice-Burned
Trayvar Thrice-Burned is a member of the Serpent's Teeth Alpha Legion Warband and is the leader of its Eighth Fang squadron.[1]
History
He earned renown in the Warband for his full-throated aggressiveness, which led Trayvar to be at the head of the Eighth Fang's advances in battle. This is also what caused him to earn the name Thrice-Burned, after Trayvar was doused in burning promethium no less than three times, in one particularly brutal assault against a position held by the Salamanders. In M42 he took part in the Serpent's Teeth's invasion of the Imperial world Pendata, which saw it nearly overrun. However before the Imperium's rule could be overthrown, the Indomitus Crusade forces of the Silver Templars came to its aid. When Captain Krozier Va'kai informed the Warband of this, Harrowmaster Drazus Jate ordered Trayvar's Eighth Fang and Kerrig Thrax's Ninth Fang squadron to seize a number of Hydra Flak Tanks. Once these were under their control, the Fang squadrons followed Jate's commands and fired upon the Silver Templars' incoming transports, which were racing to their location. While they were able to destroy several of the transports, the rest landed and deployed the Chapter's forces. This was the Serpent's Teeth's first encounter with Primaris Space Marines and the Silver Templars soon overwhelmed the two squadrons. With the immediate threat dealt with, the Primaris then began hunting for the other members of the Serpent's Teeth.[1]
