Librarian Turmiel[2]

Turmiel is a Librarian of the Dark Angels. Aloof and mysterious, Turmiel is distrusted even among his fellow Battle-Brothers. This feeling of distrust does not bother him however, for under the tutelage of the Dark Angels Chief Librarian Ezekiel he has learned that fear and mistrust of those nearby can be a shield. He possesses remarkable psychic ability, and took part in Company Master Balthasar's strikeforce against the Crimson Slaughter in the Battle for Bane's Landing.[1]

Biography

Turmiel was assigned to train under Ezekiel by Grand Master of the Librarius Danatheum. During his training, Turmiel realized that Ezekiel had been relying on him for divination's. Information that Ezekiel provided Azrael about Sylphek awakening, and information provided to Asmodai about Black Legion movement in the Ghoul Stars, came from him. This was due to a fight with a Daemon Ezekiel had on Korsh, which left him unable to use his powers of foresight. Roughly a year into his training Turmiel told Ezekiel that he knew he was doing this, but held no ill will towards him, we wanted to repay Ezekiel for the teaching and guidance he had given him over the past year. It was at the end of this conversation that Turmiel told Ezekiel he had seen several visions of the future, they were all the same and showed Ezekiel dying.[3]

Turmiel took part in the Pandorax Campaign, during which he informed Azrael, Kaldor Draigo and others that Gabriel had requested reinforcements, as he had made visual confirmation that Abbadon was leading the assult against his forces.[4]
