Tyranny Incarnate
Tyranny Incarnate is the flagship of the Red Corsairs warband.[1b]
It is commanded by Captain Sargotta[2] and is also riddled by Warp Rifts. These Rifts are connected to each other; anyone who enters them will emerge in a different area of the flagship.[1a]
History
In M42, the Red Corsairs' Chaos Lord, Huron Blackheart, used the Tyranny Incarnate to raid a world, while he stayed aboard the flagship. This left only a few of the warband's members aboard the Incarnate, which was secretly observed from a hiiden warship by Prince Erandael of the Sunblitz Brotherhood. He knew this presented him with an opportunity to kill Blackheart, which would allow the Brotherhood to retake control of the region of space the world was located in. With the element of surprise on Erandael's side,[1a] the Prince immediately led the attack on the Incarnate, alongside the Brotherhood's Felarchs, Tashae, Fariol, Malinor and the Striking Scorpions of the Hidden Blade. However, the Red Corsairs quickly recovered from the attack and Blackheart rallied them and the Masters of the Maelstrom against the invaders.[1b] Though the battle that followed cost the lives of several of the warband's members, the Brotherhood's forces were nearly all killed by the Red Corsairs.[1e] The only survivor was Erandael himself,[1d] who had been defeated by Blackheart[1c] and had his body broken by the Chaos Lord. After shattering the Prince's Spirit Stone, though, Blackheart gave Erandael to the warband's Lord Apothecary, Garreon. The Chaos Lord told the Apothecary to do what he wanted with Erandael, which caused fear to engulf the Prince.[1d]
