Tyro Gamex was a member of the Sons of Horus, who served in Captain Taras Balt's 3rd Company, near the end of the Horus Heresy's Siege of Terra.[1a]

History

After the closing of the Imperial Palace's Eternity Gate, Gamex was among Warmaster Horus' forces as they attacked any Imperials remaining within the Inner Palace. This included the Palace's Radium Gate, which was held by the Imperial Fists. However as the Traitors charged at the Gate's fortifications, the Fists launched a flanking attack that caught the Warmaster's hordes off-guard. Among the Loyalists, was an Imperial Fist who wielded two power axes, which he used to strike the Sons of Horus Itha Clathis with a powerful blow.[1b]

This would gain the attention of the Legion's First Captain Abaddon, though, who thought that due to the Imperial Fists' fighting style and weapons, that it was Captain Fafnir Rann. Abaddon sought to claim the Imperial Fist's life as a trophy and so charged at the rampaging Loyalist, as he struck a glancing blow to the Sons of Horus Kaltos. It was as the Imperial Fist sought to strike down Gamex, that Abaddon was finally able to reach the Loyalist and kill him. However after the First Captain removed the slain Imperial Fist's helmet, he realized it was not Rann, but some unknown member of the Loyalist Legion, that Abaddon did not recognize.[1b]
